Recess Temperature Guidelines

Inside/Outside – All efforts are made for students to go outside, however, this will not always happen. The following rules have been in place for determining inside/outside:

• Outside temperature ≥20°F and wind chill ≥10°F – Outside Recess
• Outside temperature ≤19°F or wind chill ≤9°F – Inside Recess
• Raining outside – this can be seen by noticing the windshield wipers on cars outside – Inside Recess
